Preschool Lead

We are currently seeking a dynamic, conscientious Preschool Room leader/ Early years Teacher to manage our preschool room alongside 2 other members of staff.

Responsibilities:
– Create and implement age-appropriate activities for children aged 3 to 5 years of age
– Deliver excellent practice through the EYFS.
– Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
– Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities
– Maintain open and ongoing communication with parents regarding their child’s progress
– Collaborate with other staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment
– Monitor and assess each child’s individual needs and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
– Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment

Qualifications/ Attributes
– Minimum level 3 qualification in child care, however a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field would be preferred
– Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
– Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
– Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children

Supply/Bank Nursery Assistant/ Practitioner

Due to an increase in children we are seeking experienced bank/supply Nursery practitioners to join our friendly team. The role will involve working along side our permanent staff caring for children aged 6 months to 4 years of age, covering staff absences and annual leave. Candidates will be required to have lots of under 5’s experience as well as being outgoing, reliable, punctual and caring. A childcare qualification is desirable.

Paediatric first aid, a DBS, safeguarding and a food safety qualification will also be required however these qualifications can be obtained in house.

Hours will vary each week however this role may lead to a full time position. Benefits include free meals as well as discounted childcare.

Start ASAP, varied hours. £10.50 to £14.00 per hour depending on qualification.
